Penelope's paintings are a reflection of her passion for food and wine. She paints in a contemporary style with an emphasis on color, mood, and light. Her inspiration often begins in social settings such as candlelit restaurants, intimate wine bars and private cellars. Penelope's epicurean paintings offer her viewers a visual feast.

Penelope grew up in Salt Lake City and earned her BFA in Painting from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco. Her passion for wine began during her college years while she worked in wine bars and fine dining restaurants. She visits Napa and Sonoma often to paint and explore the many Northern California appellations and varietals. Penelope's love and growing knowledge of wine continues to be a source of inspiration in her work.

Penelope's wine paintings are in the permanent collections of Ehlers Estate Winery and Staglin Family Vineyards in Napa, Simi Winery and Benziger Family Winery in Sonoma, Dunning Vineyards in Paso Robles, and Semler Family Winery in Malibu.
